Terms & Conditions – Happy Water Heaters General Service Terms Happy Water Heaters provides residential plumbing services, including residential water heater installation and related services, in San Luis Obispo County and surrounding areas. All services are subject to technician availability, site conditions, and a final in-home evaluation. All estimates provided online, over the phone, or through marketing materials are preliminary and subject to change based on actual site conditions. Same Day Installation Guarantee The “Same Day Install or It’s Free” guarantee applies only to qualifying standard tank water heater installations and is subject to the conditions outlined below. Eligibility Requirements To qualify for the same-day installation guarantee, the installation must meet all of the following criteria: Must be a standard tank-to-tank water heater replacement Installation must be in the same location as the existing unit Unit must be located in an accessible area (e.g., garage, exterior, or closet) Installation must not require attic access or restricted access conditions Existing plumbing, gas, and/or electrical connections must be functional and code-compliant Installation must not require major code upgrades, structural modifications, or system redesign Required equipment must be in stock and readily available Job must be approved and scheduled before 12:00 PM local time Property must be within our standard service area All installations are subject to in-home confirmation of standard installation conditions by a Happy Water Heaters technician prior to the start of work. Guarantee Activation The same-day installation guarantee is considered active only after a Happy Water Heaters technician has: Completed an on-site evaluation, and Confirmed that the installation qualifies as a standard installation under these terms, and Communicated confirmation of same-day service eligibility to the customer Guarantee Fulfillment If a qualifying installation is confirmed and Happy Water Heaters is unable to complete the installation on the same calendar day, the installation will be provided at no charge. Exclusions The same-day installation guarantee does not apply to: Tankless water heater installations or conversions Installations requiring relocation of the unit Attic installations or difficult access conditions Jobs requiring permits that cannot be obtained the same day Installations requiring significant code upgrades or corrections Situations involving unsafe or non-compliant existing systems Delays caused by customer unavailability, property access issues, or third-party factors Equipment shortages, special-order units, or manufacturer delays Circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, supply chain disruptions, or emergency conditions Pricing Disclaimer The advertised “starting at $1295” price applies only to qualifying standard installations. Final pricing may vary depending on equipment selection, installation conditions, required upgrades, and site-specific factors. Right to Refuse or Reschedule Service Happy Water Heaters reserves the right to decline, reschedule, or modify service if site conditions are unsafe, inaccessible, or outside the scope of standard installation. Limitation of Liability Happy Water Heaters shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform same-day service due to conditions outside of its control or where the installation does not meet qualifying criteria.
